Praying

‘Prayer is listening to and talking with God. It is about an ever deepening relationship with God.’

Here at St Paul's we believe prayer changes things, and therefore we are seeking to put it at the heart of our community. There are different ways to get involved in prayer, whether at the church, in the community, or through individual prayer times in our daily lives.

Prayer in our Sunday services

Each of our Sunday services include times of corporate prayer, as across the services we pray for the needs of the world, the church, the local community and individuals. At all our services we have people who are available to spend time praying alongside anyone for whatever issues or concerns may be on your mind. Please do ask at the service itself, or over refreshments afterwards in the St Paul's Centre, if this is something that would be helpful to you.

Weekly Prayer Points

Grapevine, our weekly newsletter, always includes a number of prayer points covering different topics and we encourage church members to make use of these in their personal prayers.

Staff Prayers

The staff team gather together for Bible reading and prayer twice a week. This is a chance to bring before God the work and witness of our church, global partners, and the needs of the community we are here to serve. We also pray for the needs of individuals from within the church and the wider community.
